About the Event
Join us for the next Autoware Meetup on October 28 at 6 pm Pacific Time. Panelists Taylor Lochrane (Program Manager of CARMA, Federal Highway Administration, Department of Transportation), Shawn Kimmel (Vice-Chair of SAE’s On-Road Automated Driving Committee), John Buszek (VP of Product and Services, AutonomouStuff) with moderation by Sanjay Krishnan (VP of Product, Apex.AI) will discuss the collaboration of autonomous vehicles on the road.
Cooperative Driving Automation (CDA) enables automated vehicles to work together and with connected infrastructure to further improve safety and mobility. The U.S. has been at the forefront of CDA research with nationwide, collaborative efforts such as FHWA’s CARMA program. This session will cover the latest CDA research, open-source resources, and key findings that researchers use to enhance their own Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAV) efforts.
Discussions will focus on opportunities to build on current research and get involved in ongoing collaborations. You don’t want to miss it!
